Who we are
Blue Heron Jewellery is a trading name of Blue Heron Network Limited. The company is registered in the UK and has traded on-line since 1999.

What you see in our catalogue
Blue Heron Jewellery has taken great care to describe and display the items in the jewellery catalogue as accurately as possible. However, there may be slight variations in appearance due to the effect of the differing colour renditions of computer monitors. What may delight you is that many items of jewellery, such as diamante and Swarovski crystal are far more breathtakingly beautiful than we can do justice to in a photograph. 

Handcrafted items will, by their nature, also vary slightly from the photograph. Such items are clearly identified so that you know what you are buying. 

Blue Heron Jewellery cannot be held responsible for any slight differences in the jewellery supplied. 

Naturally, all items are offered subject to availability at the time of receipt of your order. When items are out of stock, we will offer you the choice of: 

* Holding your order until new stocks arrive
* Substituting another item
* Cancelling the item ordered

In the event that an error occurs in the description or price of goods in the catalogue, then Blue Heron Jewellery reserves the right to either cancel the order or supply the item at the correct price. 

Blue Heron reserves the right to refuse to supply any orders for whatever reason.

Making your payment
Blue Heron Jewellery accepts most credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and JCB. Your card details are encrypted for safety on a secure server and are then securely transmitted to our order fulfilment department.

If you are shopping outside the UK, your card company will automatically convert the transaction to your local currency when it appears on your statement.

Blue Heron Jewellery also accepts UK cheques and postal orders (please complete the checkout and then forward your payment to us by post). Cheques should be made payable to Blue Heron Network Ltd. Payment may also be made by bank transfer. Unfortunately, payment in currencies other than pounds sterling cannot be accepted at the present time.

Blue Heron Jewellery reserves the right to decline any orders that do not pass the Address Verification System in full.

Due to the prevalence of credit card fraud and other circumstances, and the risks associated with high value orders, we reserve the right to ask for payment by bank transfer. Your order will only be despatched once we have had confirmation from our bank that payment has been received.

Postage and Packing
Postage and packing is added at the ordering stage, and will be charged at the following rates:
- Free delivery, regardless of the number of items ordered. Orders will be despatched by Royal Mail and will require a signature upon receipt.
Europe -
Flat rate of 6.95 per order, regardless of the number of items ordered. Orders will be despatched by Royal Mail, using either their International Signed For or Airsure service. In most cases, a signature will be required upon receipt
Elsewhere -
Flat rate of 7.95 per order, regardless of the number of items ordered. Orders will be despatched by Royal Mail, using either their International Signed For or Airsure service. In most cases, a signature will be required upon receipt

Delivery timescale
Orders are processed within 24 hours of receipt and where items are in stock delivery times are normally as follows:
UK: Approximately 3 working days
Europe: 7 - 10 working
Elsewhere: 10 - 12 working days 

If you require an item urgently
Provided an item is in stock and you are within the UK,  we can arrange for next day delivery via Royal Mail Special Delivery. This however, will incur an extra charge. Please contact us for more information.

Please note that for hygiene reasons, returns are not possible for pierced earrings or sets which include pierced earrings.

Blue Heron Jewellery operates a 7-day returns policy, from date of receipt of goods. Within this time period, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it to us for a full refund excluding any postage cost. The item(s) must still be in the original packaging and not have been worn. Please include your name, address and telephone number in your package. For security reasons, we recommend using recorded delivery for your return.

For returns outside of the 7 days, refunds are at the discretion of Blue Heron. Subject to items being returned in an unused condition, you will be offered a credit note for the value of the goods. This can be redeemed by telephoning our order desk on 020 8783 1024 during the following three months.

Except in the case of damaged or faulty items, the customer is liable to pay for the return postage.

All returns packages will be opened in front of a witness in order to confirm the content's condition. No refund or credit note can be made or offered for items which are not returned.

Lost, damaged or faulty goods
All goods are checked prior to despatch and every care taken to package your item securely. However, if your order is damaged in transit, or fails to arrive, please contact Blue Heron Jewellery for instructions on how to proceed. It is our policy to replace lost or damaged items free of charge. All items we despatch are tracked and therefore any lost package will be investigated by Royal Mail.

Blue Heron Jewellery abides by the UK Data Protection Acts 1984 and 1998. We do not sell, loan or rent any identifiable or personal information regarding our customers to any third party for whatever reason, other than for delivery of goods.

We may occasionally email you with information on any special offers and/or new items of jewellery. If you would prefer not to receive this information just email us to be removed from the mailing list.

In order to be able to use this site, 'cookies' need to be enabled. A cookie is a small file stored on your computer which is required for the shopping basket function. No personally identifying information is held or tracked.
